More XUL widgets, anyone?

I’m thinking we really should have a mozdev project for useful XUL widgets, written in XBL. Somewhat like JSLib, but for XUL

Who else wants a bigger toolkit? I’ve got so many ideas, easy to do in XBL, for additional bindings. Who has their own custom widgets to contribute?

  1. I’ve merged the richlistitem widget with the expander widget for one of my extensions. Someone may want to use that.
(From Alex: URL’s? E-mail me, and I’ll edit your comment.)

  2. Richard.
That sound great, do you have it hosted somewhere?
I think this is definitally something we should be posting to a wiki (KB.mozillazine.org or DevMoz).
I would love to see a comprehensive list of user created XUL widgents.
(From Alex: I’m seriously considering having my serverpost.mozdev.org site reorganized and renamed to host XUL widgets in general. Serverpost is good, but it’s a waste of space for one widget.)

  3. The widget is part of my Location Navigator extension. It is hosted at http://urlnav.mozdev.org
If it was going to be hosted somewhere else, I would need to make it more generic since it has code in it specific to that extension. I’m willing to do that if people are interested though.
